Exclusions
The insurance company
may place exclusions on the policy as a result of underwriting.
The following exclusions
apply on
most policies where the illness or disability was caused
directly or indirectly by:
- Drug abuse, alcohol or solvent
abuse or the taking of drugs except under the direction
of a medical practitioner.
- Failure to follow medical advice
or unreasonable failure to take or seek medical advice.
- War
and civil commotion including invasion, hostilities,
civil war, rebellion, revolution or taking part in
a riot or civil commotion.
